We are sad to announce that on September 25, 2021, John Downey Sr. (Dorchester Center, Massachusetts) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his children, John J Downey Jr. of Neponset, Marian Wilson (Joseph) of Weymouth, Monica Ferguson (Edward) of Winchester and Julia Greene (Stephen) of Milton; his brother Michael Downey of Athlone Ireland; his grandchildren, Adam, Daniel (Amy), Ryan, Sean, Claire, Kyle, Christopher and Bridget; his great grandchild Ashlynn; and his wife Mary Madden. He is also survived by many loving nieces & nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in John's memory may be made to Catholic TV, P.O. Box 9196. 34 Chestnut Street.
