He was predeceased by: his son Edward P. Shallow III; his parents, Edward P. Shallow and Beatrice LaCourse; and his sisters, Edna and Kathleen.
He is survived by: his wife Ella G. (Lynds); his children, Patricia Shallow-Small (Norman), Thomas (Melinda), Pamela Stafford (Joseph), Timothy (Rita), Kenneth, Cynthia Hovda (Craig) and Robert (Taylor); his grandchildren, Jacquelynn, Matthew, Shane, Timothy, Jessica, Joseph, Dale, Hannah, Samuel, Ella, Julia and Samantha; his great grandchildren, Arianah and Aliah; and his nephew Michael Ferreira.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
