He was predeceased by: his parent Daniel Tavares. He is survived by: his spouse Deborah Tavares (Sadler); his parent Emma Tavares (Franco-Mendonca); his sons, Michael Tavares of Dighton, Christopher Tavares of Jacksonville, FL and Bryan M. Tavares (Brienn) of Portland, ME; and his siblings, Jo Ann Rapoza (Joseph) of Swansea and Lawrence Tavares (Carole) of Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
