She was predeceased by: her husband Leo R. Simmons; her parents, Justin Lopes and Lucille Lopes (Roderick); and her brother Charles Lopes. She is survived by: her pets, Lily and JJ; her sons, Bruce Simmons, Matthew Simmons (Amy) and Brian Simmons; and her granddaughter Kylee Simmons. She is also survived by her friends, feeding the birds.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts made to a charity of one's choice in Helen's memory would be greatly appreciated.
