He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Santos and Mary Gloria Santos (Rebello); and his brothers, Joseph, John, Manuel, Edmund, Ernest and Frederick.
He is survived by: his children, Edward J. Santos, Jr. (Suanne), Herbert Shumway (Rick), Jean Johnson (Shumway), Karen O'Connell, Gail Gisherman, Mary Debra Tanguay, Scott Santos and Brian Santos; his stepchildren, Robert Adams and Dale Goulart (Adams); and his brother Robert Contildes of East Taunton. He is also survived by ses eighteen grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
