He was predeceased by: his wife Natalie A. Soares (Sousa); and his parents, Antone Soares and Mary Soares (Medeiros). He is survived by: his children, Rodney Soares (Wendy) of Dighton, MA and Shelley Dickson (Nick) of Mexico, ME; his grandchildren, R. J. Soares (Elisabeth), Nicholas "Nick" Soares (Syvanna Caponigro) and Wyatt Duke Dickson; and his great grandchild Palmer Soares.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home (1521 N Main St, Fall River, MA 02720). A Mass was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Michael's Church (189 Essex St, Fall River, MA 02720). A burial was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Patrick's Cemetery (2233 Robeson St, Fall River, MA 02720).
