It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Douglas Sylver of Dennis, Massachusetts, born in Brewster, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 11, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Sylver and Marion Sylver (Shiverick); his wife Lois Sylver (Loud); and his siblings, L. Earl Sylver, Gladys Sears, Norman Sylver, Ruth Thacher, Dorothy Franklin, Marion "Betty" Harding, Phyllis Gifford and Teresa Dawson.
He is survived by: his children, Marjorie Guy of Dennis, Richard Sylver (Mary) of Dennis and Sandy Ghilardi of Dennis; and his grandchildren, Rick Abraham Jr., Dan Abraham, Jeremy Abraham, Jim Ghilardi, Amy Abraham and Sean Sylver. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
