She was predeceased by: her sister Carol Yannone (Castano); and her parents, Raymond Castano and Louise Castano (Brusseau). She is survived by: her husband Terry Lorber; her brother Raymond Castano (Gail); her children, Terry Lorber II, Lara Goodman of Swampscott, MA, Lea Lorber Martin, Jason Martin of Nashua, NH, Shana Lorber and Michael Montas of Brewster, MA.; her grandchildren, Eli, Mitchell, Lionel, Everett and Arrianna; her nieces and nephews, Knott and Yannone; her cousins, Brusseau, Carrioula, Haskell, Siciliano, Simmons and Solari; and her friends, Sheila Gillen (Quill), Alice Hogan and Sandy LaCivita (Coots). She is also survived by one nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hallett Funeral Home (273 Station Ave, South Yarmouth, MA 02664). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Pius X Parish.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Leona's memory can be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
