Judith Ann Tavares Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Judith Ann Tavares of Dennis, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Jacinto Tavares; her parents, Francisco Pacheco and Mary Pacheco (Thomas); and her brothers, Frank Pacheco and Philip Andrew Pacheco.
She is survived by: her daughters, Anne Marie Barach and Audrey Marie Tavares-Hierholcer (Steven); her siblings, James Pacheco and Suzanne Crose (David); her sister-in-law Rachel Pacheco; her grandchildren, Ethan Barach (Taylor), Maclean Barach (Kirstyn), Cameron Barach, Declan Barach, Aliza Barach and Ryan Hierholcer; and her great grandchild Brooks Paul Barach. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Oliveira Family Funeral Homes & Cremation Service - Columbia (215 Columbia St, Fall River, MA 02721). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Santo Christo Church (185 Canal St, Fall River, MA 02721).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Judith's name to the Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452.
