It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Silen of Dedham, Massachusetts, born in San Francisco, California, who passed away on September 23, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Silen (Heppner); and his son Stephen Silen. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Deborah Silen of Newton and Dr. Mark Silen of Lake Oswego, OR; his child-in-law Pirjo Silen of Amherst, NH.; his grandchildren, David Silen (Nicole Yebba Silen) of Middleton, Emma Silen (Michael Kuehn) of Bedford, NH and Gretchen Marie Silen of Portland, OR.; his great grandchildren, Ethan Silen-Kuehn, Logan Silen-Kuehn, Joseph Stephen Silen and Brynn Diane Silen; and his siblings, Harold Silen and Harriet Saltzman.
