William R. Holmes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 20, 2025, William R. Holmes of Dedham, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Rosemarie A. Holmes (Lifford); and his siblings, James, Paul, Fred Holmes and Helen Shea.
He is survived by: his children, Bernadette Wynant (Mark) of Taunton, Michelle Labadini (Joseph) of Dedham, William Holmes (Annette) of Weymouth, Robert Holmes (Maggie) of Dedham, Michael Holmes (Michele) of Norton and Theresa Smith (Blaine) of Brandywine, MD.; and his sister Barbara Winters of Venice, FL. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home (456 High St, Dedham, MA 02026). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Church (420 High St, Dedham, MA 02026).
