William James LaFontaine Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William James LaFontaine of Dedham, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 5, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, William James shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid William James farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis LaFontaine and Astrid LaFontaine; and his brothers, Gary and Kenneth. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth (Mooney); his son Jason; his daughter-in-law Lauren; his granddaughter Ellie; and his pet Abby. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill's memory to the Jonah Finn Foundation, 250 Chestnut St., Cambridge, MA 02139 or to St. Jude's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
