With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Henry Reissfelder of Dedham, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 14, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandchild Brenna Reissfelder; his parents, Robert Reissfelder and Anna Reissfelder; and his parents-in-law, Sadie and John Contrada.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Reissfelder (Contrada); his children, Robert Reissfelder Jr. of Dedham, Richard Reissfelder (Christine) of Dedham, Lisa Heffernan (Bob) of Mansfield and Denise Downing-Foley of Foxboro; his grandchildren, Michael Downing (Samantha), Courtney, Sarah Foley, James Heffernan (Megan), Jillian Heffernan, Josh Reissfelder (Carolyn) and Jake Reissfelder; his great grandchildren, Riley, Luke and Dalton; and his siblings, Shirley Maguire (late Frank), Barbara Murphy, Judy David (Bo) and Donny Reissfelder (Marcia). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home (456 High St, Dedham, MA 02026). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Church (420 High St, Dedham, MA 02026).
