He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Ann Messina (Scampoli); his children, Lisa MacElhiney of Milford and Richard J. Messina Jr. (Lisa) of Medway; his grandchildren, Taryn, Daniel, Taylor, Jeffrey and Stephanie; and his siblings, Rita Garufi of Roslindale, Roberta Page of Foxboro and Robert Messina.
