He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick of Castlemaine and Ireland; and his siblings, Margaret Anne MacKay of Walpole, MA, Charlene Martel and David J. O'Brien of Kingston, MA..

He is survived by: his former wife Alice C. (McCarty). He is also survived by six children, 12 gran children and 1 great gran child.
