She was predeceased by: her daughter Sharon Denise Ham of Boston, MA.; her parents, Preston Hampton and Nisha Hampton (Jackson); her siblings, Inetha Hampton, Emma Montgomery and Richard Hampton; and her great grandchild Adonis Joseph.

She is survived by: her children, Shubrenna Dee Ramirez (Jesus Ramirez) and Susan Diahann Ham of Dedham; her siblings, Jane Knight, Caroline Jenkins of Boston, MA, Preston Hampton (Renee), William Hampton (Brenda) and Dorothy Hampton of Boston; her grandchildren, Adilia James, Roablas Lumpkins, Diahanna Hampton, Myiecia, Nisha, Yusuf and Ephraim Berry; and her great grandchildren, Janiya Berry, Darius Page, Eliot Schofield, Roablas Lumpkins, Zoan Lumpkins, Rosalie Schofield and Amiri Joseph. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
