It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary E. (Leamey) Plathe of Dedham, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 18, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary E. (Leamey) Plathe to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley M. Plathe Sr. Loving; her grandsons, David Plathe Jr. and Eric Plathe; and her brothers, William and John Leamey.
She is survived by: her children, David C. Plathe (Marlene) of Dedham, Susan M. Moses (Paul) of Wrentham, Diane Hess (Ron) of Uniontown, OH, Stan M. Plathe Jr. of Dedham, Henry J. Plathe (Cynthia) of Dedham and Maureen Cogliandro (John) of Walpole. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home (456 High St, Dedham, MA 02026). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Church.
