Amy Johnson wrote a sympathy message

“In loving memory of Lenore Asher, Such a sad day... Lenore was a wonderful, funny, and generous woman; I always felt that she made an extra effort with me. I'll never forget the unconditional friendship she had with Mom, and the worrisome Thelma and Louise trek they had across country. I also will never forget the fun we all had when we were children, including the Devil Dogs, Ring Dings, etc. that were always available in one of the kitchen cabinets. I associate all of you with our beloved Vine”

Amy Johnson wrote a sympathy message

“To lenore's family- lenore was my mother's best friend, and her love for us as children was as sincere as any i've experienced. I remember my mother "laughing and scratching" with lenore and norman all summer. She so appreciated their humor, and i have never seen her as happy as she was with them. I will always associate your family with the vineyard, our magical summer getaway, a place that i love more than any- peace and love to you all- amy”
