She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Elman and Beatrice Elman; her husband Norman B. Asher; and her sister Edythe Glucksman. She is survived by: her sons, Steven (Rebecca Warner), Jacob (Nancy Hosay), Benjamin (Liza) and Robert (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Daniel, Sam, Sophie, Eve, Henry, Lucas, Maggie, Theo, Elias and Annabel; and her sister-in-law Margery Russem.

“In loving memory of Lenore Asher, Such a sad day... Lenore was a wonderful, funny, and generous woman; I always felt that she made an extra effort with me. I'll never forget the unconditional friendship she had with Mom, and the worrisome Thelma and Louise trek they had across country. I also will never forget the fun we all had when we were children, including the Devil Dogs, Ring Dings, etc. that were always available in one of the kitchen cabinets. I associate all of you with our beloved Vine”

I remember my mother "laughing and scratching" with lenore and norman all summer. She so appreciated their humor, and i have never seen her as happy as she was with them.
