He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Sayers and Mary Sayers; his wife Pauline Sayers (Corkery); his children, Colleen Sayers of Boston and Honolulu; and his siblings, Gerry, John, Joseph, Francis, Paul and Richard.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 3rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home (2055 Centre St, West Roxbury, MA 02132). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 4th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 4th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. John Chrysostom Church (4750 Washington St, West Roxbury, MA 02132). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 4th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Ma National Cemetery.
