It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Milks of Dedham, Massachusetts, born in Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on August 20, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn L. Milks (Bott); his siblings, Patricia Flogel, Kathleen Jungblut and William Milks; and his parents, Mary Milks (Mulligan) and Andrew Milks.
He is survived by: his son Col. John Kevin Milks; his close friend Martha Nykiel of Dedham; his children, Melinda Tripp (John) of North Brookfield, Mary Milks of Douglas, Cara Caporelli (Carmine) of Taunton and Daniel Milks (Laura) of Simpsonville, SC; his grandson David Milks (Lita Basconcillo) of Kanehoe, HI.; and his sister Zita Funk of Irving, TX. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Due to the pandemic, a private graveside service for John will be held at a later date.
