George S. Harakas Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George S. Harakas of Dedham, Massachusetts, born in Salem, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 9, 2022, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Stanley Harakas and Emily Harakas (Maniates); and his siblings, Katherine Defilippo and Spero Harakas. He is survived by: his siblings, Angelica Harakas of Northampton, MA and Demitrius Harakas of Santa Ana, CA; his uncle Ted Harakas; his brother-in-law John Defilippo; and his friend Kay Sullivan. He is also survived by 4 nieces, 3 nephews, several cousins.

In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to the Alliance for the Mentally Ill.
