He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria Maher (McLean); and his brother William L. Maher of Hyde Park. He is survived by: his children, Karen L. Egersheim (late James) of Norwood and Steven D. Maher (June) of Merrimack, NH.; his grandchildren, James Egersheim Jr. (Lori) of Amherst, NH, Lisa Brown (Stephen) of Quincy and Kasey Lee Maher of Hookset, NH.; his great grandchildren, Michelle Ashcroft (Jordan), Cassandra, Samantha, Benjamin Brown, James III and Jared Egersheim; and his sister-in-law Margaret McLean. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
