He was predeceased by: his siblings, David and Eleanor Margolis; and his sibling-in-law Rabbi Robert Marcus. He is survived by: his wife Ellen (Shapiro); his children, Deborah Margolis, Rita Cusack, Nathaniel, Sandi Margolis, Joshua Margolis, Sara Schutzman, Beth Margolis and Jeff Cohen; his siblings, Daniel and Patty Margolis; and his sister-in-law Miriam Marcus.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 18th 2024 at 1:30 PM. A shiva was held on Saturday, January 20th 2024 at 2:30 PM and at 7:00 PM.
