He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jayne Shanning (McGrath); his children, Denise Shanning (Renee Marchand) of Wilmington, Dale Shanning Hartman of Marshfield and Stacey Sherwood (Christopher) of Duxbury; his grandchildren, Jarad, Conner Hartman, Jamie, Noah Shanning, Ryan and Jay Sherwood; and his siblings, Nancie Miller of New Port Richey, FL, Linda Shanning of Canton and Paula Hansen. He was also cherished by friends referred to him as their best friend and their brother.
