It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bartholomew R. Sullivan of Dedham, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 31, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bartholomew R. Sullivan to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Eileen Sullivan (Raymond); his brothers, Michael, Sean, Robert and Joseph Sullivan; and his parents, Bartholomew Sullivan and Agnes Sullivan (Flaherty).
He is survived by: his son Bartholomew P. Sullivan of Dedham; his stepchildren, Eileen Sweeney, Edward Sweeney of Dedham, Daniel Sweeney of Newburyport and Margaret Sweeney of Dedham; and his sister Mary Leach of Braintree. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home (456 High St, Dedham, MA 02026). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Church (133 School St, Waltham, MA 02451).
