He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonsus Slavin and Marion Slavin; and his siblings, Kenneth, James Slavin and Anne Marie Gomez.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen A. "Kathy" Slavin (Finn); his children, Allen J. "A. J." Slavin, Jr. (Korrin) of Dedham, Brian Slavin (Kristi) of Chestnut Hill and Christine Francis (Tom) of Norwood; and his sister Maryellen Page of Brookline. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
