She was predeceased by: her spouse Isadore "Al" Berit; her siblings, Libbie Krasoff, Milton Adler, Simon Adler, A. Samuel Adler and Faye Weir; and her parents, Hyman Adler and Beckie Adler.
She is survived by: her sons, Brad Berit (Priscilla) and Jonathan Berit (Antonia); her grandchildren, Joshua Berit (Elizabeth), Sarah Monaco (Michael), Matthew Berit, Danielle Steeves and Tasha Berit; her great grandchildren, Allison and Carter; and her sister Frances Shulrif.
