He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles A. Gonsalves, Jr. and Genevieve Gonsalves (Botelho); and his brother Charles "Chucky" Gonsalves. He is survived by: his daughters, Kristi Mendoza (Jose) of New Bedford and Jami Mello (Ian) of Mattapoisett; his brothers, Bruce Gonsalves (Sharon) of Dartmouth and Steven Gonsalves (Gisele) of New Bedford; the mother of his children Maria Gill (Joseph); his grandchildren, Charlotte Mello, Harper Mello and Mason Mendoza; his niece Tracy Silva (John); his nephew Brett Gonsalves (Melanie); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Cody Silva, Sydney Martins, Devin Gonsalves, Morgan Gonsalves and Casey Gonsalves; and also, Dustin Gonsalves and Marissa Gill of New Bedford.
