He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacinto of Amaral Macedo and Maria; and his brothers, Carlos Amaral Macedo and Carlos Alberto Macedo. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Macedo (Pereira) of Dartmouth; his siblings, João Macedo (Ilda) of Stoughton, George Macedo (Deolinda) of New Bedford, Marylou Brum (Joseph) of Acushnet and Natalia Macedo of Sessimbra, Portugal; his siblings-in-law, Goretti Macedo of Palm Coast, Margarida Quental (Jose Janeiro) of Fall River and Jose De Souza (Rosa) of New Bedford; his nieces and nephews, Alcinda Pimentel, Paula Macedo-Harvey, Joshua Pacheco, Richard De Souza, Patricia Resendes, Sandra Pridgen, Paul Quental, Kelly Miranda, Christine Garcia, George Eric Macedo, Vanessa Macedo, Lauren Pallatroni, Larissa Brum, Lindsay Brum, Tomas Santos and Andre Santos; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Oksana Pimentel, Svetlana Pimentel, Maggie Grey Motel, Ellyana Miranda, Ellysa Miranda, Giana Garcia and Aria Garcia. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and Godchildren.
