He was predeceased by: his spouse Victa Germana DeMedeiros (Sardinha); his parents, Manuel DeMedeiros and Olimpia Raposo Branco; and his sisters, Maria Joana Santos and Alexandrina Silva.
He is survived by: his daughter Paula Puim (Nuno) of Dartmouth; his grandchildren, Natasha Puim and Timothy Puim; and his great grandchildren, Mia V. Puim and Maxwell V. Puim. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
