He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Manuel; his children, Norman M. Moniz (Debra) of Medfield, MA and Octavia M. Moniz (late Zavier Chickering); his granddaughters, Helen Emily Moniz of Medfield and Olivia Jane Chickering of Marblehead; and his sibling Alzira Isabel Da Ponte. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:15 AM at the Aubertine-Lopes Funeral Home & Cremation (129 Allen St, New Bedford, MA 02740). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Church (783 Dartmouth St, South Dartmouth, MA 02748).
