She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Brum and Mary Brum (Taveira). She is survived by: her husband John C. Creed; her children, Heidi Gardner (Sean Gardner), Alexa Pellegrino (Paul) and Kelly Thompson (late Brian); her grandchildren, Malia, Ava Cafasso, Sarah Morales and Carley Thompson; her great grandchild Gabriella Morales; and her siblings, Phoebe Remy (late Jerry) and Joseph Brum (Carolyn).
It was Mary's wish that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Massachusetts General Hospital, specifying it be directed to "Dr. Walter O'Donnell's Fund" for his lung research program.
