Maria Teresa (Pavao) Frias Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Teresa Frias of Dartmouth, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 4, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, José R. Pavao and Matilde Pavao (Goncalves); her parents-in-law Jorge and Francelina Frias; and her sister-in-law Ana Benevides. She is survived by : her husband Leonardo C. Frias; her children, Christopher L. Frias (Sarah) of Dartmouth and Lynn M. Arruda (Paul) of Dartmouth; her siblings, José Manuel Pavao (Julia) of Dartmouth, Jan Pavao (Kim) of Illinois, Lourdes Pavao (late Duarte) of Dartmouth, Francelina Pacheco of Florida and Phebe Ditata of New Bedford; her brothers-in-law, Jorge M. Frias and Rui Frias (Leonor); and her grandchildren, Alexis Arruda, Ryan Arruda, Nicholas Frias and Leah Frias.
Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, her Mass of Christian burial in St. Julie Billiart Church and interment in South Dartmouth Cemetery were private and entrusted to AUBERTINE-LOPES FUNERAL HOME, 129 Allen St., New Bedford.
