She was predeceased by: her spouse Juvenal Sousa; her parents, Luis Pereira and Ana Pereira (Pimental); and her son-in-law Joseph Ahern. She is survived by: her sons, Emanuel Sousa (Aida) of Dartmouth and Jose Luis Sousa of Dartmouth; her family, Fernando Sousa (Deborah) of Charlton, MA and Juvenal Sousa (Lynn Maura) of Dartmouth; her daughters, Maria Juvenalia Ahern of Norton and Graça Simas of Terceira, Açores; her brother Luis Pedro Pereira (Cidalia) of Terceira Açores; and her son-in-law Luis Carlos Simas. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
