He is survived by: his parent Mary Souza (Almeida); his children, Joseph Souza (Judith) of Dartmouth, Carl Souza (Susan) of Fall River, Louis B. Souza Jr. (Susan Viveiros) of Dartmouth, Pamela Tavares (Randy) of Dartmouth and LouAnn Brayton (Gardner) of Dartmouth; and his siblings, John Souza of Westport, David Souza, Daniel Souza of Westport, Gloria Santos of Dartmouth, Antone B. Souza, Frank B. Souza, Joseph B. Souza, Mary Carvalho and Laura Reyckert. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
