He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Johansen (Castino); his parents, Simon Johansen and Thordis Johansen (Skaar); and his brother Thomas. He is survived by: his children, Nancy J. Brown (Steven) of Assonet, Kathy Rowse, Shawn Miranda of Fairhaven, Steven J. Johansen (Barbara) of Dartmouth and Michael J. Johansen of Dartmouth; and his brothers, Ronald Johansen of Fairhaven, Ralph Johansen of Norton and Stanley Johansen. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
