With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David F. Gonsalves of Dartmouth, Massachusetts, born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 18, 2024 at the age of 65. He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Gonsalves and Jean Gonsalves (Oliveira). He is survived by: his close friend Cheryl Varieur of Fairhaven; his children, David F. Gonsalves, II (Amy L. Davis) of New Bedford and Melissa Gonsalves of Texas; his stepsons, Michael Vitorino of New Bedford and Justin Varieur of New Bedford; his siblings, Paul Oliveira Gonsalves (Audrey) of Acushnet and Paula Jean Gomes (John Gomes III) of New Bedford; his aunts, Beatriz Medeiros and Diane Perez; his grandchildren, Lacey Gonsalves, Kailee Diaz, Ariana Bowley and Jaylynn Bowley; and his nieces and nephews, Alicia Gomes, Ashley Gomes, Anthony Gomes, Aiva Gonsalves, Lola Gonsalves and Ruby Gonsalves.
