It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel D. Silva Sr. of Dartmouth, Massachusetts, born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 10, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Daniel D. departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Daniel D.. Though Daniel D. may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Aubertine-Lopes Funeral Home (129 Allen St, New Bedford, MA 02740). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 8:45 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Assumption Church (47 S 6th St, New Bedford, MA 02740).
