She was predeceased by: her parents, John Weier and Thelma Moreira (Taylor); and her stepfather David Moreira. She is survived by: her husband David A. Mateus of Dartmouth; her children, Nathan Mateus of Dartmouth and Hannah Mateus of Dartmouth; her brother Paul Moreira of New Bedford; her nieces, Brooke Moreira and Kaitlyn Da Silva; and her nephew Tyler Da Silva.
