With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Alice P. Sylvia of Dartmouth, Massachusetts, born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Alice left this world on October 30, 2024 at the age of 95, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frank P. Sylvia, Jr.; and her parents, Manuel Alfonse and Loretta Alfonse (Bourbeau). She is survived by: her daughter Susan S. Mello (Joseph) of Dartmouth; her siblings, Ronald Alfonse (Tina) of Fairhaven and Dorothy Pinto of Fairhaven; her sister-in-law Carmen Alfonse of New Bedford; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Maxted (Christopher) and Joseph Mello, Jr. (Page Pearcy); her great grandchild Lily Alice Maxted; and her friend Linda Cheney. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Mary Church (783 Dartmouth St, South Dartmouth, MA 02748).
