He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Cushing and Ella Cushing (Collela). He is survived by: his wife Joyce Cushing (Burbine); his children, William (Laurie Cushing) of Lynn, Richard (Debra Cushing) of Peabody, Gary Cushing (Jeanne Cushing) of Hampton, NH, Lisa (Keith Howard) and Tracy Cushing (James Benningfield) of Danvers; his grandchildren, Michael Curley, Shannon, Ricky, Mark, Christopher, Jessica, Michael Cushing, Taylor, Corey, Craig, Cassie, Jason, Natasha and Heather; and his great grandchildren, Mikey, Maddison, Aubrie, Jacob, Kaylen, Brianna, Lane, Ashley, Tyler, Paige, Ellies, Wesley, Tyson and Taryn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
