With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert F. Powers Sr. (Danvers, Massachusetts), born in Salem, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 3, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Robert find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his brother J. Donald Powers. He is survived by: his wife Gladys Powers (Whalen); and his children, Mary Collier (Scott) of York, ME, Robert F. Powers Jr. (Heather) of Sarasota, FL and William J. Powers (Lynne Keithley) of Lakeland, FL. He is also survived by five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, and godchildren.
A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Annunciation Church (24 Conant St, Danvers, MA 01923).
