He is survived by: his pet Richard; his wife Darla Ellery (Stevens); his daughters, Jennifer Colby (Richard) of Newburyport, Elisabeth Anderson (George) of Danvers and Sarah Ellery of Danvers; his grandchildren, Patrick Colby, Daniel Colby, Benjamin Colby, Kevin Anderson (Jacqueline), Thomas Anderson, Brian Perham and Hannah Perham; and his pet Bentley.
