He was predeceased by: his wife Louise MacNeil (Dluznieska); his parents, Elton MacNeil and Dorothy MacNeil (Cressy); his siblings, Jack MacNeil and Betty Cassidy; his daughter-in-law Candy MacNeil; and his nephew Philip Cassidy.

He is survived by: his children, Richard MacNeil, Barbara Lynch (Thomas Bachini) of Danvers, Marcia MacNeil of Danvers, Donald MacNeil (Jane) and Jack MacNeil; his sister-in-law Jennie Joyce of Peabody; his grandchildren, Jeff MacNeil, Matt Lynch (Heather), Elizabeth Toerne (Kevin), Jessica Osier (Damein), Lauren Simons (Evan) and Elyse Larsen (Erik); and his great grandchildren, Sam, Benjamin Raymond Toerne, Matthew, Jameson Raymond, Hudson Lynch, Cole and Raymond Simons.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Raymond's name to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA, 01923.
