He was predeceased by: his parents, John Howland and Grace Porter (Carroll); and his sister Doris Lavone. He is survived by: his brothers, Warren Porter of Maine and Robert Porter, Sr. of New Hampshire. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
