He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Walton, and Frances Walton, Sr. (Cove). He is survived by: his wife Geri (Shoaf); his children, Jessica Walton of Manchester, Paul W. Walton III (Susan), Lisa Boyle (Jim) and Diana Block (Marty) of Scituate; his sister Sandra Pratt (Donald) of Plymouth; and his grandchildren, Cecelia Hubert, Nicole Eaves (Paul), Kyle, Allison Walton, Patrick, Meghan Boyle, Michael, Kaitlyn Berkery, Leah and Maia Block. He is also survived by many great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
