We are sad to announce that on December 10, 2024, at the age of 93, Louis J. Bakis of Danvers, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Bakis (Clemens); his parents, John Bakis and Christina Bakis (Karavoulous); and his siblings, Penelope Perakis, Helen Nardone, Georgia Pantinas, Arthur Bakis and Demetria Fiste.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Thurston (Kevin) of Danvers, Arlene Barbieri (John) of Danvers, Kelly Bakis of Stratham, NH, John Bakis (Karin) of Yarmouthport and Maureen Bakis of Marblehead; his grandchildren, Erin Thurston (Marc Moccia), Sean Thurston, Matthew Kreschollek, Jack Doyle, Shea Doyle (Alisha), Regan Doyle (Anthony Cordaba), Riley Doyle, Johnny, Alicia Bakis, Tara LaCross (Gavin Murray), Kate LaCross, Jacquelyn, Cameron Barbieri and Samantha Hatziiannou (Costa); and his great grandchildren, Hayden, Taelyn and Matthew Kreschollek. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
