He was predeceased by: his parents, Franc Hiti and Ivana Hiti (Grze); and his siblings, Frank and Iva. He is survived by: his daughters, Larisa (Vern) of East Windsor and Tanja (Robert) of Westford, Massachusetts.; his grandson Derek of East Windsor; and his sister Marija Jarc of Slovenia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's name to Kent State University, Department of Chemistry (Kent State University Foundation, 350 South Lincoln Street, PO Box 5190, Kent, Ohio 44242) or to another charity of the donor's choice.
