She was predeceased by: her parents, John Luongo and Emma Luongo (DeCarlo); and her brother John Nicholas Luongo. She is survived by: her children, Laureen Brickley of Middleton, Denise Hudson (Renee Porter), James (Marie Dorgan) and Kevin (Joanne Dorgan); her brother Richard Longo (Maryann) of Boston; her friends, Maureen and Louie Bono of Saugus; and her grandchildren, Kristin Banacos, Megan Marshall, Charles Hudson, Michelle Brickley, Rachael Hudson, Samantha Dorgan, James Dorgan, Ashley and Emma Dorgan. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joanne's memory to the Kaplan House in Danvers, MA (78 Liberty St.) - honoring her compassionate spirit and love of life.
