He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Behenna and Alice Behenna (Gerrior); and his brothers, Joseph, Robert, F. X., William, Elmer, Vincent, Edgar, Charles and Clayton (Lorraine Behenna).

He is survived by: his brother Peter Behenna; and his nieces, Joan Daly, Peggy Defren and Barbara McLaughlin.
